All 12 members of a youth football team, along with their 25-year-old coach, have now been rescued from the Tham Luang cave in Thailand's Chiang Rai Province.
The four boys who were recovered on Sunday are now eating normal food, Jedsada said.
Eight of the boys were brought out on stretchers over the first two days - four on Sunday and four on Monday.
The Thai rescue effort has been assisted by experts from around the world, and the death of a former Thai Navy SEAL diver who ran out of oxygen in the cave on Friday underscored the dangers of the mission.
The emergence of the second batch of four on Monday evening was greeted with a simple "Hooyah" by the Thai Seals team on their Facebook page, an exclamation that lit up Thai social media.
Narongsak would not identify the rescued boys. They also anxious about dwindling oxygen levels in the cave. Rescue operations have halted for the night and will restart on Tuesday.
In the past two days, eight boys were rescued and are now in a hospital isolation ward while they are tested for any possible infections.
