The OPPO Find X is the first OPPO smartphone that will officially be available with carriers in Europe and North America. Oppo Find X facial recognition uses 15,000 dots to map a face which is further supported by flood illuminator, IR camera, proximity sensor, a dot projector and of course the front-facing camera.

Sans a notch, the Find X has a screen:body ratio of 93.8 percent, and the back is made of glass.

One of the biggest highlight of the Oppo Find X is its "Stealth 3D camera" which are not just hidden but also integrate the company's face recognition dubbed O-Face recognition system.

On the specs front, the Find X is similar in many respects to other Android flagships, which means that it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a rather large 3,730 mAh battery.

Software: The Oppo Find X runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Colour OS 5.1. But that's alright. The Find X is the craziest bit of technology we've seen coming out of China off late - after the Vivo Nex - and because Oppo is fairly active in India, chances are the Find X may come to India as well. Pricing starts at €999 for the 256GB model, while a souped-up Lamborghini model - a carbon fiber texture on the rear with the carmaker's logo - will set you back €1,699. The company claims that it takes only half a second to close and open the slider. The Lamborghini edition of the Oppo Find X will cost buyers 1,699 Euros which roughly translates to Rs 1,33,913.

Oppo has finally launched its new bezel-less smartphone - Oppo Find X, at an event in Paris yesterday. Its rear-facing cameras are in the traditional position on the back of the phone. On the other hand, the Vivo Nex houses a front camera of 8MP in a retractable setup. Switch on the camera app and the top of the phone slides open (you don't need to do anything manually) to reveal a dual camera on the back, and a pretty fancy 25 megapixel camera on the front that not only clicks awesome selfies, it also works as facial recognition device... because in the quest for purity, the Find X has no fingerprint scanner either.

Oppo Find X is fuelled by a 3,730mAh battery along with support for the company's VOOC fast charge technology.

Oppo's new Find X is unlike anything you've ever seen. During the launch event, the company says that the pop-up tests have been done to guarantee durability. The SIM card tray is also located on the bottom of the device along with the speaker, while volume left and right buttons are located on the left side of the frame, and the power button is located on the right.

The rear duo are a 16MP (f/2.0) primary and 20MP (f/2.2) secondary, with OIS support. Features like AI portraits and AI Scene Recognition technology are integrated.
