Respawn Entertainment teased its Star Wars game today during EA Play 2018 at E3.

According to Zampella, the game takes place place during the "dark times" where the Jedi are being hunted. Unsurprisingly, players will be able to wield lightsabers in the game.

When it comes to Star Wars video games, the only substantial titles we've gotten come in the form of the Star Wars Battlefront franchise (which just got a new Han Solo season).

It's called Jedi Fallen Order. Chances are Respawn will start trickling out information as we get closer to the holidays this year.

Dan Casey is the senior editor of Nerdist and the author of books about Star Wars and the Avengers. Darth Vader? Maybe the game will feature some other famous Star Wars faces. EA Games, which acquired Respawn in 2017, confirmed that the game centers on "a surviving Padawan".

It also enables China to provide data if the water level exceeds a mutually agreed level during the non-flood season. The two militaries will continue to talk to each other to maintain peace, Gokhale said.

Not much is known about the game except the Jedi Purge aspect, but isn't that all we need? We know so little about the game, so all we can do now is speculate.

Since this is an area that hasn't been extensively explored in the new Star Wars canon, this has the potential to be a really exciting game.

Jedi Fallen Order seems like a single-player title, featuring a harrowing story.

Stay tuned to Nerdist all week long for the latest and greatest in E3 coverage. It also brings up the possibility of an actual Star Wars canon story to go along with it - oh what fun!
