Janet Jackson Calls Police on Ex-Husband For Welfare Check on Baby

U.S. singer Janet Jackson made a frantic call to 911 on Saturday after a nanny who was looking after her one-year-old son with estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, became terrified by his behaviour.

Pop legend Janet Jackson became very frightened about the status of her child and called the police to check on the toddler while he was in the custody of her estranged husband.

Randy told ET that Janet called 911 after a nanny who was helping the dad take care of the one year old contacted her.

Sources say cops told the 2 parties - Janet and Wissam, in this case - to handle the matter civilly.

We're told when Wissam refused to give her the password, she immediately called Janet and "stirred the pot" which ended with a visit from sheriffs deputies.
