Robert Lewandowski's agent has revealed that the Poland worldwide has informed Bayern Munich of his desire to leave the club.

Lewandowski parted with previous agent Cezary Kucharski in February, when he turned to Zahavi, a renowned transfer broker, and time will tell whether the Israeli can mastermind a move for the striker this summer. "The Bayern management know about it", Zahavi told Sport Bild.

It is being reported today that Chelsea want to sign Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski regardless of who is in charge, and there is every reason to believe that this particular piece of transfer gossip is accurate.

The Poland worldwide has previously been linked with Real Madrid, having enjoyed four strong seasons at Bayern.

Bundesliga's top goalscorer this season is contracted with Bayern until 2021.

Lewandowski, 29, is expected to leave Bayern in the off-season after his agent confirmed the forward wanted a new challenge .

Karius "infinitely sorry" for Champions League final mistakes
Bale made his mark on another Champions League final with a magnificent overhead kick to put Real 2-1 up after 64 minutes. The festivities began with players and team members participating in a ceremony at a local cathedral.

The Pole finished his fourth year in Bayern Munich, and now seeks newer pastures in his career, especially with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and even Chelsea after his signature.

United's long-held interest, meanwhile, dates back to Louis van Gaal reign but Lewandowski is said to favour a move to Madrid with the Champions League holders likely to spend heavily during the close season. "We will show the football world that the club holds more power".

Zahavi hopes that Bayern's hierarchy will understand his clients desire to leave: "Everyone in the club leadership of FC Bayern has had a great career". "The Bayern heirarchy have been informed".

Zahavi's comments will probably anger Bayern, but they need to resolve the situation sooner rather than later.

Lewandowski will lead Poland at the World Cup in Russa next month when they kick off their campaign against Senegal in Moscow.
