Xiaomi is known for affordable phones, and the Mi 8 is no exception: It will retail for around $421 in China (but there's no word on the price in other markets, including the U.S.) yet. If you want to know more about the Snapdragon 710, we suggest you that you read our coverage here.

Let's have a look at the poster boy Mi 8 first and see what the hype is all about.

Xiaomi has a history of, uh, taking inspiration from Apple when designing its own brand phones, the Mi 8 is no exception.

Anyway, the Xiaomi Mi 8 captures vivid photos with a good dynamic range in various scenarios (including low-light) and delivers accurate exposure and white balance at the same time.

Contrary to what was expected, the band does not allow gesture-based controls and features a recessed button similar to the Mi Band 2.

OnePlus 6 sports a dual-camera setup of 16-megapixel Sony IMX 519 sensor, and a 20-megapixel Sony IMX 376K sensor.

Getting back to the full-size model, the Mi 8 also features 6GB of RAM paired with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of onboard storage.

Xiaomi's Mi 8 is the Chinese phone company's flagship for 2018 and like every other handset's flagship it too will feature an edge-to-edge display broken only by a "notch" on its upper edge.

It's a Winning Return for Serena Williams at the French Open
The tennis champ won her first match back on the court in March at Indian Wells but was sent home by her sister, Venus. Not even the 25C weather (nor the fact she'd given birth just nine months prior) were enough to stop her win.

A 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual camera is on the rear with AI functionality.

The tech behind the face unlocking is also used for Xiaomi's version of Apple's animojis - so if you're looking for an Android phone that can do Apple's animoji - well, here it is.

Xiaomi adds that one flavor of the Mi 8, called the "Explorer Edition", adds fingerprint recognition, which the iPhone X did away with.

The Mi Band 3 comes in two variants, one with NFC which will sell for ¥199 Yuan (about $41AUD), or an NFC-less version for ¥169 (about $35AUD). It houses a 20-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.

As always, the global prices of the Mi 8, Mi 8 SE, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition will be slightly higher than their prices in China, but we don't have any details on that front for now. Honor 10 also has face unlock with a home button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Then the 6GB/128GB model has a 2,999 yuan (~$468) price tag, while the 6GB/256GB model will retail for 3,299 yuan (~$515).

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. A proper price comparison can not be made since we don't have the Indian pricing for Mi 8. "That phone will get a 5.9" Samsung AMOLED display with the same resolution and aspect ratio as the bigger Mi 8.

The manufacturer provided less detail about the smaller Mi 8 SE.
