Where is Melania? First lady's response fails to quell rumours

The off-tone tweet caused some Twitter users to worry about the first lady's welfare and demand answers to why she hasn't been seen in weeks. She was notably absent from the Memorial Day wreath-laying at Arlington Cemetery earlier this week.

On Wednesday, as Trump tweeted the reassurance about her health and whereabouts, the White House was hosting a sports and fitness day, with Olympic and pro athletes and public-health officials gathered to stress the importance of physical activity. "Our office has received thousands of calls and emails wishing Mrs. Trump well, and we thank everyone who has taken the time to reach out".

Some have also put forth conspiracy theories about how the first lady is and why she's not been seen, such as that she's moved back to New York City.

Even her spokesperson Stephanie Grisham, known for posting updates and keeping tabs on the whereabouts of the First Lady has been scarce of realtime Melania news.
