We already know that the Xiaomi Mi 8 is going to be a high-end flagship, featuring the Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Thanks to an alleged hands-on video leaked in recent days, we can take a look at what should be the new Xiaomi Mi 8 with a translucent shell.

Xiaomi has posted an image on Twitter with the Mi logo in the middle which is surrounded by eight images of landmarks from eight different countries.

The leak shows the retail box of the Mi 8, however, it does not say much about the device but confirms some specs that were being speculated earlier. The rear of the box shows juicy details including the presence of dual rear cameras, above-mentioned Global Positioning System technology, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage space. But now, reports have revealed that the smartphone is called Mi 8.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas spark romance rumours
Reports surfaced on Tuesday that the 25-year-old actor and Quantico actress are dating after a number of recent outings together. So, he was like 'Hey, you wanna go together?' And I was like, 'Yeah, OK, let's go together.' So, it just ended up working out".

Mi 8 will have an anticipated feature in the fingerprint sensor expected to be mounted below the screen. Furthermore, the Mi 8 from the recent leaks could bring a similar looking notch like the iPhone X (with the same length). There is speculation that the device will come with a display and a fingerprint scanner.

While companies like Apple are charging a couple of hundred bucks for their smartwatches, Xiaomi isn't trying to compete on the same level and have instead gone to the extreme end, where the company's previously launched Mi Band devices were set at extremely affordable prices. Actually, Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jen was spotted at an occasion in China a month ago with the new Xiaomi Black Shark cell phone.

This is for the very first time that the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has been exposed in the official list of Xiaomi.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is expected to come with an OLED display and supporting screen touch. The second feature to notice is the presence of a dual front camera setup on the Xiaomi Mi8. Now, Xiaomi's Senior Vice President Wang Xiang tweeted today that the Mi Band 3 will also be launched along with the Xiaomi Mi 8 and MIUI 10 in this event. As for RAM and storage, the possibilities are 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB internal. Xiaomi is known to provide updates to smartphones from its portfolio that date as long as 4-5 years back.
