Couple keep wedding date after bride loses arm in crocodile attack

Zanele Ndlovu and her fiance Jamie Fox were canoeing down the Zambezi river in Zimbabwe when the crocodile launched at her and tore off her arm.

While Ndlovu lost her arm in the attack, it is believed that she will still be able to play tennis as she is left-handed.

A couple attacked by a crocodile got married days later in a Zimbabwean hospital where the bride was recovering after losing an arm.

Jamie, from London, jumped to Zanele's aid and, fearing she could die from heavy blood loss, applied a makeshift tourniquet.

Ms Ndlovu was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where surgeons managed to save her life, but she lost most of her arm.

"They were in an inflatable boats, and the crocodile attacked their vessel and in the process deflated it, before attacking her".
