After announcing the Alexa and Cortana integration previous year, Microsoft's Cortana will finally include access to Amazon's digital assistant and at the Microsoft Build 2018, the software maker went on with demonstrated Alexa running on Cortana and vice versa.

Microsoft's artificial intelligence assistant Cortana spoke through the Amazon Echo on stage at Microsoft's Build conference Monday, showing the working combination of the two companies' technology.

"LOVE SPORT is pioneering a new model for media and bringing it immediately to a global audience through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant". In addition to LOVE SPORT's core listener base in the United Kingdom, the shows will also be available to Alexa and Google Assistant users in Australia, Canada, India and the U.S. That being said, features will vary depending on the operating systems i.e. iOS and Android, however, Microsoft can mirror more Android phone features into a Windows 10 PC, which means you won't have to physically pick up your smartphone while you're working on a PC. Cortana has fallen behind Alexa and Google Home in terms of number of skills available and devices that are integrating the service. Then she called up Cortana by saying, "Alexa, open Cortana" and had Microsoft's digital assistant run through her calendar and send an email.

He also asked Alexa what she thought of Cortana, to which Amazon's assistant replied, with her typical cheesy humor, "I like Cortana".
