Goldenvoice and AEG Live have officially made a decision to end this year's FYF Fest, as confirmed by the festival on May 6th.

This year's FYF Fest, which was to be headlined by Janet Jackson, Florence + the Machine and Future, is being canceled due to poor ticket sales, Billboard has learned.

Of course, Carlson was bought out of the FYF Fest brand entirely late past year after disturbing accounts of his alleged sexual harassment and misconduct towards women were made public. Just a few months after opening ticket sales and announcing its 2018 lineup, the festival has been cancelled.

This was supposed to be a big year for the festival to get back on its feet without Carlson and start strong again... but nope!

Cardinals' Yadier Molina Out One Month After Surgery
If Yadier Molina has to leave a game, you know he's in some serious pain. "He was just trying to get the ability to breath back". Louis and is expected to be activated for Sunday night's game, when the Cardinals go for a series sweep of the Cubs.

"After much consideration, we have made the hard decision to cancel FYF Fest 2018", the statement on the website reads. Ticket holders will receive full refunds.

"We will be announcing some special local shows soon, featuring some of the fantastic artists from the 2018 lineup", the statement says.

FYF Fest was unusual in that both top-of-the-bill headliners this year were set to be women, while most festivals heavily tilt toward male acts. Last year controversy arose as Sean Carlson was embroiled in sexual harassment allegations that led to Goldenvoice buying out his share and replacing him, and this year was seen as a positive shift by many.
