The manufacturer wants to leave some room for consumers to digest the Samsung Galaxy S10 and have room left over for dessert.

Samsung has been working on foldable smartphone for a while now, and everyone has been patiently waiting to see one of those hit the market soon. Some early rumors point that Samsung will be looking to ditch some of its long-standing branding in favor of a fresher name. Instead, we reckon there's a good chance Samsung launches the Galaxy X as special 10th anniversary handset alongside the S10 and S10 Plus - just like Apple did previous year with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Still, a lot can change between now and the actual release.

The Bell also found that Samsung informed its partners that the new sensor will be launched with the Galaxy S10.

In addition to bringing in-display fingerprint scanner to the Galaxy S10, Samsung is expected to borrow a page from Apple's playbook. If rumours are to be believed, the device will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The volume is undeniably lower than the 50 million units Samsung comes up with for its Galaxy S and Note flagships, but it would be enough for the company to gauge the foldable phone's marketability. The idea of integrating the fingerprint scanner under the display has already been demonstrated by Vivo, but Samsung using it will make the feature more mainstream. First of those, comes from South Korean financial news site The Bell which has an excellent track record when it comes to revealing details about the upcoming Samsung phones. Chances are that Galaxy S10 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, probably Snapdragon 855. It's not unusual to hear reports suggesting that Samsung might launch its next flagship smartphone ahead of schedule.
