President Donald Trump is bringing in big league players to his fitness council.

Originally founded in 1956 as the President's Council on Youth Fitness, the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition "engages, educates, and empowers all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle that includes regular physical activity and good nutrition".

It is unlikely Belichick will emulate the president's love of Twitter in his new role. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar is expected to host the first meeting.

Trump overhauled the council in 2016 to put a focus on promoting, encouraging and motivating children to become physically active and to participate in sports. Dr. Mehmet Oz will also be on the council. The administration stated that "Studies have shown that children who are involved in sports have greater self-discipline, higher self-esteem, and are better at working with others".

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly said he was surprised at how much time Trump spends on the phone with Belichick and said they have a close relationship, according to a New York Times report. The way he worded it makes it sound exactly like something Bill Belichick would say in a press conference.
