Simple But Effective Posters Land For The Upcoming 'Robin Hood'

The new adaptation of the popular legend will star Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Tim Minchin, and Jamie Dornan, and will once again be an origin tale of the famous rogue.

Anyone who was let down by Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe's 2010 "Robin Hood" and feels the hero deserves another chance on the big screen is in luck.

The first look trailer featuring Taron Egerton as the saviour of the poor, Robin Hood, has finally been released. The studio has dropped a couple of simple, though very effective posters for the redo starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly previous year, Bathurst compared Robin Hood's story to today's society.

An official synopsis for the film reads: "A war-hardened Crusader and a Moorish commander mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure". The movie is directed by Otto Bathurst and offers a new take on the iconic hero, withsleek costumes and plenty of action paving the way for Egerton's titular hero. Watch the first trailer below. He teams up with his band of merry outlaws, taking matters into his own hands to set things right, though this is perhaps a much more serious take on the material than seen in recent past.

The film will hit theaters on November 21.

Producers are Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell, and Harold. And 1991's Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves starred Kevin Costner in the title role. Now, we have what looks like one of the funnest plays on the character yet.
