HTC typically unveils their flagships in the early part of the year, but for some reason the company seems to be taking slightly longer than expected. The Taiwanese company just teased a device launch set for May 23 on its US Twitter page.
In the tweet, HTC claims the phone is going to be "a phone that is more than the sum of its specs".
It might strike most as odd, but as per leaks, HTC might be calling their upcoming flagship, the U12 Plus and not the U12. The image clearly shows four cameras, hybrid dual SIM slot and much more. Now, HTC has announced that it will launch a new smartphone on the 23rd of May. Do let us know via the comments section. According to a recent leak, the HTC U12+ might have a 5.99 inch IPS LCD display with 2960 x 1440 px resolution QHD+ panel. From the Samsung Galaxy S9 to the Huawei P20 Pro, we have seen some impressive flagship devices being launched.

HTC is also likely to pack the option to expand the storage with a microSD card.It will be powered by 3,420 mAh battery while running Android Oreo-based OS out of the box. Previous reports suggest a Snapdragon 845, 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and a 3420mAh battery will all come sealed inside.
On the back reside two cameras: a 16-megapixel one and secondary 12-megapixel one. The company is also expected to feature the second generation of HTC Edge Sense hardware in the device. It remains to be seen.
