Frank Warren: Joshua not a 'true champ' until he beats Fury

Tyson Fury's comeback fight will be broadcast exclusively live on BT Sport after an extension of the partnership with Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions Ltd was announced.

The Manchester boxer is set to make his own return to boxing on June 9 against a now unnamed opponent.

The efforts of Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) to unify the heavyweight division are in vain until they defeat lineal champion Tyson Fury, according to promoter Frank Warren.

WBO middleweight master Billy Joe Saunders recently shared a video of Fury sparring Mariusz Wach in Hatton's gym.

He added: "We were in negotiations for the British title this year but that didn't come off, so we'll probably look at that again after a couple more fights".

Weather: May bank holiday weekend set to be sunny and dry
Bank holiday Monday on May 5 will have a "good deal of sunshine", a welcome break from the recent downpour of rain. As the sunshine returns, temperatures are expected to rise to up to 25 degrees in certain parts of the week later.

"I'm going to be the busiest heavyweight since the great Joe Louis", Fury, looking fit and trim, declared in an interview with the Daily Mail. Boxing is about whether you can fight or not and Tyson is a true exponent if it, of hitting and not getting hit.

"If I can I'll have six fights this year". We're prize fighters. We boxed for free once upon a time. "Very busy, the busiest heavyweight of all champions to date".

"I'm proud of how Anthony has turned his life around and of all he has achieved", Fury said of his fellow Brit who owns the IBF, WBA and WBO belts with Wilder having the WBC title. "I'm in a fantastic place at the minute and I hope to stay there".

"I believe he and Wilder must fight each other for the good of boxing". 'Even when I won the title it didn't really mean anything to me.

To fight on the Fury undercard highlights the considerable rise Massey has enjoyed since turning professional, which in turn came about despite his first talents being exhibited on the ice hockey rink. I would prefer Joshua to win so we can have the huge fight at Wembley.
