At one point in the game, the coach asked the kid to run as fast as he could towards home to step on the plate.

It was like a sports movie come to life when the boy's coach (who also happens to be his dad) told him to run home as fast as he could.

An adorable and hilarious video of a young little leaguer running as slow as possible has gone viral and now everybody is making the same joke.

Lennox Salcedo was wrapping up his baseball game this week in Walnut, California when he made a decision to take his coach's instruction to "run home as fast as he can" in an unexpected direction.

The three-year-old reportedly gave a thumbs-up in response, but then proceeded to amble toward home plate in an exaggerated, determined, and "slow-motion" style.

Not surprisingly, the video posted to Twitter by Lennox's cousin and has since been retweeted over 100,000 times. We just hope the opposing team didn't bean him in his next at bat.
