Indianapolis police are investigating after a 1-year-old boy was apparently attacked at a daycare center, leaving his lips, eyes and face horribly swollen.
According to the woman's testimony, on Monday, when she went to pick up her son from the Kiddiegardern daycare center, Griffin was horrified to discover her son's face covered in blood.
An Indiana mother is demanding answers after she picked up her little boy from an Indianapolis daycare with bruise and cuts all over his face. "She didn't call the police, she didn't call the ambulance, she didn't call nobody", she said.
However, Griffin said she doesn't believe that Jesse's injuries were inflicted by the 2-year-old girl, whom she said is small and "didn't look like she was the violent type".
".I was like, If a 2-year-old did it, how could she have that much time to do that", Griffin told ABC 6. Enraged, she punched one of the daycare workers.
Jesse is being treated at Riley Hospital for Children. "He's very uncomfortable, and hopefully, we can get him comfortable and back to his good health and back to being the happy baby that he is", Griffin said.

Griffin told Fox 59 that she doesn't buy the explanation that a 2-year-old beat her son up so severely.
'She said her baby wouldn't do anything like that'.
"Kiddiegarden has never had any accusations of abuse or maltreatment from any of our children or parents". She said she is "deeply saddened about what took place yesterday afternoon to Jesse" but still prides herself "on not only providing quality service to families but also providing a clean, safe and healthy environment for all of our children". We have confidence in the detectives who are handling the investigation to give us a final report of the incident, which we will make public.
Adding, 'Her mom said she wasn't the violent type and her mom said scratches her baby might do, but when she saw that picture [of Jesse's face] she started crying.' .
Kiddiegarden called the incident "sad, shocking and unfortunate".
"It was negligence any way it goes". While the 22-year-old daycare worker has been listed as a suspect, no one has been arrested in connection with Jesse's beating. So, I think it should be a full investigation, and they should do something about it'. Doctors are still examining him to make sure he is OK.
