Well, the good news does not end here, the release of OxygenOS 5.1.0 update for the smartphones OnePlus 5 and 5T comes along with the Android security patch update for the month of April, and with it a new host of the latest features and optimization tweaks. The update brings along several noticeable improvements and features including iPhone X-like navigation gestures that will only be available for the OnePlus 5T.

These are the new features included by OnePlus in the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update, and as stated earlier, the update is now rolled out to a small batch of users, while the broader rollout will begin in a few days.

The OnePlus 5T is equipped with a 6.01-inch QHD Optic AMOLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, 16MP/20MP rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera, 3300mAh battery loaded with Oxygen OS 5.0.3 on top of Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Wheeling PD investigates report of armed robbery
Authorities have taken a 60-year-old man into custody in connection to a series of recent armed robberies at Norfolk pharmacies. The suspects forced the employees to the back of the store and made them lay on the floor, according to police.

The gesture navigation was made famous by the iPhone X even though it was not the first smartphone to do it. WebOS had gestures for navigation and so did BlackBerryOS. It should be visible right away on your OnePlus 5T or OnePlus 5. For multi-tasking, you swipe up from the bottom centre of the screen and hold your finger in the centre of the display until multitasking cards show up.

Navigation gestures is one of the more interactive features to come with the iPhone X as it acts as a substitute for the home button. Recently, the smartphone company released the OxygenOS Open Beta 4 Update, which finally got the Stable OxygenOS 5.1.0 Android 8.1 Oreo Update. Optimisations in the gaming mode include power saving and pausing adaptive brightness. The update will rollout widely in a few days so do make sure to keep checking by heading to Settings System Update.
