"Duterte dismisses Filipinas as mere goods for trade, that women are just sights for tourists".

"Tell the soldiers, there's a new order coming from Mayor".

Duterte, addressing a group of former communist rebels Wednesday, referred to his time as mayor before becoming president and ordered the soldiers to render the women "useless" by shooting their vaginas.

Duterte suggested he would pay the equivalent of nearly $400 for "every NPA you kill". "We will just shoot you in the vagina", said Duterte. "We will just shoot you in the vagina".

Duterete mentioned the word "bisong", meaning vagina, repeatedly through the speech, which apparently drew laughter from the audience.

The group added that the leader's comments encourage the culture of "treating women as sexual objects devoid of dignity and human rights".

The left-wing group Karapatan said President Rodrigo Duterte "has distinguished himself as a frothing-in-the-mouth fascist who incites the worst violations of worldwide humanitarian law".

The government has been embroiled in an ongoing conflict with communist rebels in the country, as peace talks stalled after Duterte declared the Communist Party and the New People's Army terrorist organizations in 2017.

According to a report by Guardian, Duterte has made a similar statement during his election campaign in 2016.
