Facebook/DieHardMoviesBruce Willis confirmed that a "Die Hard 6" is happening.
Although we've heard very little in the way of movement since, it seems that Die Hard 6 still remains a priority for 20th Century Fox as The Tracking Board is reporting Chad and Carey Hayes (The Conjuring, House of Wax) have been brought in to rewrite the script for the film. He previously directed Live Free or Die Hard, the PG-13 Die Hard movie that had John McClane launching a auto at a helicopter and taking down a fighter jet, and now he wants to do an origin story for Bruce Willis' iconic cop.
Len Wiseman is producing and directing Die Hard: Year One.
Canada could be caught in the middle of a USA trade-war
There might be some changes in the global economy, depending on how flexibly the new measure will be taken. The tariffs come at a time when domestic steel producers' balance sheets are steadily improving.
Last month, Willis revealed that the film is still going ahead and the script had been written. The two brother scribes became an in-demand dup in Hollywood following their work on the 2013 film "The Conjuring" and its 2016 sequel, "The Conjuring 2", which had a combined worldwide revenue of $600 million. While most of their previous projects were horror films, they also have action movie credits.
Looking to toggle back and forth between past and present (with Willis' present-day version of McClane looking back), the movie aims to chronicle what he was getting up to as a cop in 1970s NY, years before he went to that fateful Christmas party at Nakatomi Plaza.
The problem here is that if McClane does something impressive in the 1970s, it minimizes his heroics in the original Die Hard because you wonder why people wouldn't already know him.
