And, boy, did they.

A bunch of cards will be shuffled out of Standard rotation and end up in Wild and this means that a new expansion is on the horizon.

This morning, the developer released a trailer - well, more like a Blair Witch Project parody - announcing its latest expansion to the game, The Witchwood, with a release date of sometime in mid-April, with three free packs and a free class legendary to all players.

Hearthstone: The Witchwood is available for pre-purchase now, with a bonus 20 packs and "In a Dark Wood" card back on the table for people who pony up early.

Pumpkin Peasant provides Life Steal. There's also a tease for a Hagatha card, for those of you that have been waiting for a new Hero card. Factors that could cause Blizzard Entertainment's actual future results to differ materially from those expressed in the forward-looking statements set forth in this release include unanticipated product delays and other factors identified in the risk factors sections of Activision Blizzard's most recent annual report on Form 10-K and any subsequent quarterly reports on Form 10-Q.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho: Liverpool victory just a warm-up
After visiting boss Jurgen Klopp had left his technical area in the second half, Pawson chose to warn him rather than sending him to the stands.

There's also a new Echo keyword that enables a card to be played multiple times on the same turns, and Rush, which can attack minions the same turn that they come into play-similar to the Charge keyword, except it's only against minions.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure those Hearthstone guys in the video are actually perfectly OK, so you can stop worrying about them and have a look at the first of the new cards down below.

Time to collect your dust, this expansion looks like it will be home to some seriously powerful cards! Their powers are great, but you will need all the help you can get against the Witchwood's fiendish foes.

When you start a new Monster Hunt, you venture into the Witchwood as one of four unique new heroes exclusive to this game mode.

It sounds like Witchwood could be the most intriguing addition to the Hearthstone world to date, especially with the new mode and the stack of new cards coming our way.
