Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu will be in Gujarat for a day on Wednesday where they will first have a mega roadshow from the airport to Sabarmati Ashram, and then visit an entrepreneurial centre and a horticultural centre.
Around 50 stages will be erected on the roadside along the stretch and people from different states of the country will welcome the visiting dignitaries at various points as they pass by. The two leaders will hold a roadshow with an eight-km ride in an open-top vehicle decked with flowers from the airport to the Sabarmati Ashram.
Both the Prime Ministers will pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad.
PM Modi has called the Gujarat visit an opportunity "to see the fulfilment of the promise, which our mutual cooperation holds in diverse areas such as agriculture, technology, and innovation".
No less than 50 stages have up set up along the route.

12 teams from "Chetak commandos", the Quick Response Teams, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and police will be guarding the venues and a km-long periphery will be turned into a fortress. Every spectator participating in the roadshow will be scrutinised in door frame metal detectors at the special 20 entry gates erected for the objective.
Commuters may face some trouble as civic authorities have closed numerous roads adjoining the roadshow route on security grounds.
The two leaders will also visit the Centre of Excellence for Vegetables at Vadrad in Sabarkantha district. The latter will be welcomed by PM Modi.
Security deployment is in place for of the road show to be jointly undertaken by both prime ministers.
