Nintendo Direct January 2018 brings Luigi to Super Mario Odyssey

There's also more paid-for DLC coming for Pokkén Tournament DX, and Donkey Kong will be coming to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle with new story content. Mario Tennis Aces is the latest entry in the popular Mario Tennis spinoff series from Nintendo. Players are given 30 seconds to either hide a balloon in the world, or 30 seconds to find other player's balloons, as part of online leaderboards. the update also adds new outfits, and camera filters, to the game. The base game will soon be available for the Switch along with its downloadable content "Artorias of the Abyss".

The first major releases are Platinum Games classics Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2, coming on 16 February. So, get ready to punish some angels and demons with melee attacks and gunplay.

The fact that the game is actually going to feature a story mode is a huge deal. Now it is coming to Nintendo Switch this spring.

Nintendo has promised new gameplay elements which will test the player's ability to read your opponent's position on the court, as well as their tennis stroke.
