Another blast of Arctic air on the way for Monday

The National Weather Service says clouds will increase Saturday night with temperatures plunging to minus 11 and wind chill as low as minus 22 in the metro area.

That round of light snow will move out before 9 a.m. Sunday with an inch or less of accumulation in the metro and slightly higher amounts to the southwest (see map below).

Monday night: A 20 percent chance of snow after 4 a.m.

Two rounds of light snow are expected through Monday morning.

Today will be mainly sunny with winds up to 15 km/h.

Sunny, with a high near 57. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

The low in St. Cloud Friday night will be around -16, with a wind chill of -25.

Plane skids off runaway in northern Turkey, no injuries
One of the passengers, Fatma Gordu, told Turkish state-run news agency Anadolu the crash sparked panic on board the flight. The plane, belonging to private low-priced carrier Pegasus , had arrived from the capital Ankara. "We tilted to the side".
