On Sunday, actress Meryl Streep attended the Golden Globes, where she was nominated for her role in "The Post".

The songstress started her tweets by supporting the TimesUp movement and in solidarity wore a black dress too. "I think the dress is a bit much honestly", said another.

Streep went on to explain that she returned to her assigned seat to find Carey in her place next to Steven Spielberg "sucking up".

See? Meryl Streep sat on Mariah Carey.

Monica Ramirez (L) and Laura Dern arrive for the 75th Golden Globe Awards on January 7, 2018, in Beverly Hills, California.

The 47-year-old singer got close to her boyfriend at the InStyle and Warner Bros. "It is our hope that in doing so, we will also help to broaden conversations about the connection to power, privilege and other systemic inequalities".

It's also quite impressive he managed to drive it and only smash one vehicle (and a supermarket shopfront) in the process. The man stole the military vehicle from a military driving school in the Murmansk region, the Guardian reported.

Meryl Streep actually tells Jimmy Kimmel that she offered to sit in Mariah Carey's lap, which is one of those awards show photos that would have gone absolutely viral if it had actually happened. I just really love her.

Mariah first revealed the news of the seat mix up on Twitter, apologizing profusely and saying: 'You can take my seat any time!'

Mariah Carey may be music royalty, but on Sunday she was in another queen's territory - and accidentally found herself sitting on the Golden Throne!

"I reached out to her to say that she stood with all the 700,000 women farm workers in solidarity for the women in our industry who were courageous enough to speak out about sexual harassment and assault".

And following her motivational words, Mariah was among those praising Oprah on her message on social media, tweeting: "Congratulations @Oprah!"
