Fortnite Battle Royale talks Map Update in new video

Epic Games' representative Erik Williamson shared some information about the upcoming Fortnite Battle Royale Map Update which will bring new areas to the original map as well as different biomes.

The update will be rolling out next week - so get yourselves ready for the next big Fortnite: Battle Royale update! Key to this goal are points of interest that include more named areas in the city and more defined locations within it.

Williamson said that the different "biomes" have been divided up more clearly, so as to help distinguish them from each other. That means the swamp will be "swampier", and the mountains will be more "mountainy". For a game that could have just as quickly been forgotten within weeks after launch, its Battle Royale mode has launched the game into the stratosphere and has been a mainstay among the most prominent titles out there. The new western locations have been added to "even the map out" with more locations for players to drop into on the west side.

The NVIDIA ShadowPlay Highlights feature is accessible to those PC players who own a GeForce GTX 650 graphics card or something more advanced.
