BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe invites players back to the treacherous land of Lordran with DARK SOULS Ô : REMASTERED, available on 25 May, 2018 for the Nintendo SwitchÔ, PlayStationÒ4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC.

Looking over the contents, it's full of some addition physical goodies which are rather cool. Xbox, PC, and PlayStation fans likely need no introduction to the series, but the remaster marks the first time Nintendo fans get a chance to die over and over again.

According to the publisher, Dark Souls: Remastered for the Switch will run at 1080p 30fps.

In a bit of a twist, Bandai Namco partnered with Nintendo to announce the next wave of Dark Souls ports during Thursday's truncated Nintendo Direct. The company is known for creating and publishing numerous industry's top video game franchises, including PAC-MAN™, TEKKEN™, SOULCALIBUR™, DARK SOULS™, NARUTO™, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN™, Dragon Ball, GALAGA™, RIDGE RACER™ and ACE COMBAT™.
