Following the leak onto Steam, THQ Nordic and Black Forest Games' Fade to Silence has been revealed at The Game Awards.

Announced (a little prematurely) at The Game Awards, Fade to Silence is a "complex, character-driven, group survival experience" set in a "post-apocalyptic, frozen wasteland" where players need to gather resources for survival.

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Black Forest Games have been teasing a new game on Twitter since yesterday.

The game made its debut at The Game Awards, where a trailer showed a character braving treacherous storm, riding a snowmobile and trekking through the snow as unusual creatures close in around him.

From where I see it, he is more comfortable inside, but the good thing about this player is that he can play in several positions. The Brazilian wants to depart Anfield, and it will be the best option for both the player and the club to part ways happily.

Fade to Silence is going to be an Early Access title according to the Steam listing, but doesn't appear to be the traditional ARK/Rust type of Survival Game.

The game will launch on Steam Early Access on December 14 and will acclimatize the player with the ins and outs of expeditions, collecting materials, and upgrading equipment.

"As the player you take the role of Ash, a natural but tormented leader".

Heavy focused on building and defending a refuge in a bleak, monster-strewn open world, the Early Access build will allow players to "construct, upgrade and defend" their refuges, as well as rescue and recruit followers, combat "a variety of eldritch monstrosities", and explore a 10km squared snowy hellscape. Fade to Silence promises dynamic, accumulating snow, real-time snow trails, and completely immersive weather effects. Assuming they are talking about the current generation, we can expect Fade to Silence to come to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
