Camila Cabello was reluctant to work with other artists on her solo album because she "collaborated for five years" as a member of Fifth Harmony. "This is what I love to do".

Cabello, who announced the January release of her debut LP earlier this week, dropped two brand new tracks - "Never Be the Same" and "Real Friends" - this morning (December 7), immediately sending her loyal fans into a frenzy.

"Whilst the tracklist remains a surprise for the time being, we know that it will feature "Never Be The Same", and "Real Friends", in addition to her global hit 'Havana", the biggest song of her career to date.

"My debut album is finally finished".

Camila Cabello exited Fifth Harmony almost one year ago and well, a lot has happened since then.

Tyler Chatwood, Cubs Agree to Contract After 5 Seasons with Rockies
He's spent his last six big league seasons in Colorado after debuting in 2011 with the Los Angeles Angels . Right-hander Tyler Chatwood and the Chicago Cubs have agreed to a $38 million, three-year contract.

Camila adds, "I just really wanted to prove to people that I had something to say and that I wasn't just a singer, that I was an artist, that I had a point of view and knew exactly the song that I wanted to write or the lyrics". "It's music! It's not that deep, '" she said.

Former Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello dropped two new songs on Thursday.

Over the year since then, Cabello has performed as a solo artist on a number of tracks, including I Know What You Did Last Summer with Shawn Mendes and Bad Things with Machine Gun Kelly.

Camila isn't out until January 12, 2018 via Epic Records, but Camila might as well take all of my coins now!

After co-producing "Havana" alongside Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, Kesha), OneRepublic vocalist Ryan Tedder and Pharrell Williams, there's a good chance there will be some exciting collaborations on "Camila".
