Overwatch's Winter Wonderland seasonal event returns December 12, bringing with it old and new holiday-themed character skins as well as a new Brawl, Mei's Yeti Hunt. However, the Black Forest map will also be decked up for the holiday season as well. In the past Hanamura and King's Row received the Winter Wonderland treatment and this continues.
Snowball offensive will also make a return. That game mode became very popular with fans previous year, so we're sure a lot of them will be happy to see it make a comeback. Ammo can be refilled at snow piles but leaves you very, very defenceless so it's a game of timing and accuracy. The former group has a limited number of lives, while the latter has only one, and there are a couple other twists: the Mei players can lay down ice traps, and the boss player can grab power-ups to fuel his Primal Rage (at which point everyone else will want to scurry into hiding).
The holiday brawl from last year, Mei's Snowball Offensive, will be back this year-both on Ecopoint Antarctica and now Black Forest as well. Everyone playing as Mei tries to find Winston and take him down.
European Union to sue Poland, Hungary and Czechs for refusing refugee quotas
Prime Minister Viktor Orban considers Soros a key political foe, mainly due to their diverging views on migration. Thus, they may dissuade people from making donations from overseas to civil society organisations in Hungary.
Blizzard is also introducing Mei's Yeti Hunt. This new mode sees five Meis square off a single Winston in the Nepal village map.
It sounds like Overwatch is going a bit Evolve, which is an interesting choice.
"I know a lot of you are thinking it sounds kind of ridiculous and kind of silly, and I'm here to tell you it absolutely is", Kaplan said.
Winter Wonderland will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 when it launches next Tuesday, and the full line-up of 2017 seasonal skins will likely be revealed soon.
