After an appearance on The Tonight Show yesterday, Kate McKinnon gets to add another spot-on impression to her already impressive list which includes Hillary Clinton, Kellyanne Conway, and Jeff Sessions, just to name a few.
McKinnon plays a goat in the film, and she gave Jimmy Fallon a sampling of her best "exertion sounds", or the little non-word noises and reaction sounds that voice actors have to record in animated films. McKinnon said the Israeli actress hypnotized everyone around with her accent and mannerisms, even while answering mundane questions. "I asked her, like, do you have hobbies, Gal?"
The actress told other tales from that week on set, but didn't mention one of the most talked-about moments: the kiss she herself shared with Gadot. McKinnon quipped of her co-star. I love to paddle board. I love to go to the Maldives...
"Everything she said was magic".
Dallas County Sheriff to officially run for Texas Governor
Valdez's campaign said she will "officially notify" Dallas County commissioners of her decision to run for governor this morning. First elected to the sheriff's office in 2004, Valdez was re-elected three more times in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
To paraphrase a quote from last week's Torah portion, "To see Kate McKinnon do an impression of Gal Gadot is to see the face of God".
However, McKinnon - who famously portrayed Hillary Clinton during the USA presidential election campaign, as well as a host of other characters including Kellyanne Conway, Angela Merkel and Theresa May - said that things got awkward at a dinner the "SNL" cast had with Gadot. "She sat down and she was like, 'I want everyone to go around the table and say something they've never told anyone, '" McKinnon recalled.
"Obviously I'm not from here, I'm from Alberquerque", she joked.
