Huawei Nova 2s with dual rear and front cameras unveiled

Following a series of leaked renders that have surfaced last week, it seems that the Huawei Nova 2S will finally see the light of day soon.

The Huawei Nova 2s is slowly gaining the momentum hype and today will be the launch date in Beijing, China.

The highlight of the Huawei Nova 2s Full-screen display and four camera setup as there are dual front and dual rear cameras. Well, those two cameras protrude on the back of the phone, not by much though, the phone shouldn't wobble on the table or anything of the sort.

To begin with, the Huawei Nova 2s features a 6-inch Full HD+ display on the front with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

In terms of the internal hardware, the Huawei Nova 2S will be powered by Kirin 960 octa-core 64-bit processor, accompanied by 6 GB of random access memory (RAM). This smartphone features 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and no matter which variant you opt to get, you'll get 128GB of internal storage, which you can expand using a microSD card. The smartphone is backed up by a 3,340mAh battery and it will run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0 on top.

On the optics front, the device will feature 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel cameras, while on the other hand, the selfie shooter is pegged to come with a pair of 20-megapixel snappers.

New be equipped with double main and front cameras. Colour options available for the Huawei Nova 2s are Black, Gray, Red, Rose Gold and Blue.

Numerous leaks about the Huawei Nova 2S already hint at the phone's specs. The Nova 2S design is similar to the high-end Honor V10, but it's important to remember that the 2S is meant to be a mid-range device rather than a high-end flagship. It starts at 2699 yuan ($408 / Rs. 26,350) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version, 2999 yuan ($454 / Rs. 29,265) for 6GB RAM+64GB and 3399 yuan ($514 / Rs. 33,165) for a special edition Yixing Zhang variant that comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
