First Lady Melania Trump's latest trip with Second Lady Karen Pence inspired her to share a Christmas wish with Americans this week.

The group also visited an elementary school in Aransas (uh-RAN'-suhs) Pass. President Trump and the first lady traveled to the Houston area just days after Harvey made landfall to also comfort victims and thank emergency personnel.

Landing in Corpus Christi, Trump and Pence are scheduled to get an update on recovery efforts in the region, which in August was devastated by Hurricane Harvey.
