According to the music streaming service, Sheeran is the most streamed artist of 2017 with 6.3 billion hits. Sheeran also had 47 million monthly listeners, "Shape Of You" became the most streamed track is Spotify history with over 1.4 billion streams, and ÷ was the most streamed album of the year with 3.1 billion streams.

His third album ÷ (Divide) was the most streamed album in the United Kingdom and globally, while his monster single "Shape of You" was the most listened-to song, with an eye-watering 1.4bn streams.
