If you've been waiting for another good teen movie, wait no longer because Love, Simon is coming. The Greg Berlanti-directed film is an adaptation of Becky Albertalli's 2015 book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda which is another coming-of-age narrative that revolves around a teenage boy who is in the closet and falling for his anonymous online pen pal. Based on Becky Albertalli's novel, Greg Berlanti's film follows seventeen-year-old Simon Spier (Nick Robinson), who is now grappling with how to tell his family and friends that he's gay.
Love, Simon's release date is March 16, 2018.
Oh and his friends having to come out to their parents as straight at the end of the trailer hits the nail on the head.
