Now the leaks have started appearing about the Xiaomi Mi 7, company's upcoming flagship phone. The smartphone is expected to be launched at a starting price of 2,699 yuan in China, which converts to roughly Rs.26,490 based on the ongoing exchange rate. The phone is believed to have a 6.01-inch bezel-less display manufactured by Samsung.
Today, the company unveiled a new variant of the Mi MIX 2 called Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Philippe Starck Edition. It is the same all ceramic variant of the Mi MIX 2, but comes with Starck's signature on the bottom rear.
Mi Mix 2 features a 5.99-inch FullHD+ Display (2160×1080 pixels) with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 12MP Sony IMX386 snapper and a 5MP snapper on the front. A recent rumor hinted that Xiaomi and Qualcomm are now working to optimize the upcoming Snapdragon 845 SoC for the Xiaomi Mi 7.

Reports about widespread sexual harassment and discrimination at the company led founder/CEO Travis Kalanick to resign in June. The hack by two unnamed individuals outside of the company didn't affect corporate systems or infrastructure, he said.
The new flagship device will come with a 16 MP dual rare camera which may support optical zoom. Some trending features like Bokeh effect in portrait mode will also be there.
If the display rumor proves to be true, this would mean that the fingerprint scanner will probably be positioned at the back of the device. In the memory department, the Mi 7 is rumored to feature 6GB of RAM, identical to the Mi 6. It is designed by Philippe Starck and comes with "Starck" inscribed at the back panel. Hopefully, Xiaomi will add a Micro SD card slot this time. Sadly, the latest leak claims the Mi 7 will not adopt the feature, as the technology behind it is still not fully mature. The 845 chipset has not been introduced yet. On the inside, it is just as great as the limited editions, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, a handsome 5.99-inch Full HD display, 6GB of memory and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, It comes with MIUI 9 atop Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The Mi Mix 2 Ceramic Black variant is priced at 4,699 Yuan, while the Mi Mix 2 Starck Edition will cost you 4,999 Yuan.
