"She didn't know at the beginning", Kim said of the woman, whose identity remains unknown, "You can do it totally anonymously".

Kim, who is expecting her third child - her first via surrogate - with husband Kanye West, opened up about the subject on American TV show The Real, saying that North, four, and Saint, one, were the main factors behind her decision. "Now she knows she'll never be able to binge on junk food again".

She says the surrogate was pleasantly surprised to find out.

Shepherd revealed in May that she'd been promoted to COO of Kardashian West Brands, and considered herself "Kim's liaison" rather than her assistant.

"She's great. She's been fantastic".

Among her duties was helping to run her boss's much touted Kimoji app.

"Kim and Stephanie made the decision to part ways amicably and remain friends".

And though the formerly inseparable pair "aren't really speaking" at the moment, according to sources, Shepherd is likely still speaking to Kim's sister Kourtney. She feels like maybe she's in a place in life where she's unfulfilled, job-wise.

Kourtney and Stephanie are often seen going out, exercising or just spending time together; they call each other "wifey" on social media.

The KKW Fragrance founder said during the KUWTK episode: 'I do think it's, like, inappropriate for her to talk to you and not to me'. "She was a good assistant but when Stephanie wanted to transition into a larger role with Kim's brand and businesses, it just didn't work", sources told People.

She also questioned her relationship with Stephanie. She's so nice. She's the ideal person to do this for my family'. Kim asked Kourtney, who then asked if it bothered her.
