Flipkart's awkwardly-named Billion Capture+ is now up for sale in India

The Flipkart Billion Capture+ comes in two variants based on RAM and storage capacities - 3GB RAM+32GB ROM and 4GB RAM+64GB ROM configurations.

Smartron has announced that they have collaborated with the online retailer Flipkart as the designer and engineer partner of the newly unveiled Billion Capture+ smartphone.

Billion Capture+, the first smartphone from Flipkart-owned brand Billion, will go on sale at 12 am IST on Wednesday. Buyers will get additional 20 percent discount on products under the Billion range, and up to 60 percent discount on Flipkart SmartBuy products.

Commenting on the sales, Billion Category Head Hrishikesh Thite said the Billion Capture+ packs an impressive set of features, all created to deliver on Indian smartphone buyers' biggest needs.

There is also an exchange offer of up to 12,999 and an extra off of Rs 1,000 on Honor 6X, Lenovo K5 Note and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. It includes two 13-megapixel cameras - whereby the primary camera comes with an RGB sensor while the secondary camera includes a monochrome sensor. Buyers who purchase the phone with HDFC debit or credit card will get 10 per cent instant discount. The back camera of the Billion Capture+ is capable of capturing shots in super night mode - in other words, it is capable of clicking clear pictures in a low-light situation.

Flipkart Billion Capture+ runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box which will be later upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs a 3500mAh battery and is claimed to offer two-days of battery life. The company is also offering unlimited cloud storage powered by tronX. The battery also supports Quick Charge tech.
