Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced the arrival of their Honor 7X here in India as an Amazon exclusive. First unveiled in China in October, the Honor 7X is the successor to the Honor 6X which has been received well in India, both critically and commercially. However, previous reports indicate that the phone will go on sale in India sometime in December. "Smartphones are one of the fastest growing product lines and have repeatedly been a top selling category on Amazon.in", said Noor Patel, Director Category Management, Amazon India, in a statement. While not yet official, this could be the date from when the Honor 7X will go on sale in India. As a bumper prize, seven lucky registered Amazon.in users will also win holiday packages from Yatra worth Rs. 75,000. The e-commerce giant is also having exciting offers for those who pre-register for the device.

The Chinese variant of the smartphone comes with a 5.93-inch, 18:9 ratio display with a screen resolution of 1080x2160 pixels.

On the hardware front, the phone is packing a Kirin 659 octa-core processor paired with a MaliT830-MP2 GPU.

Court allows Trump's travel ban to partially come into effect
The Ninth Circuit court will hear arguments on December 6 on whether to keep or permanently overturn Watson's stay. The Trump administration had unveiled its third travel ban on September 24 after USA courts blocked the first two.

Running Android 7.0 Nougat, the Honor 7X comes with the Honor's EMUI 5.1.

On the photography front, this phone is mounted with two rear cameras - 16MP primary camera with LED flash and secondary 2MP camera. However, there are some visible bezels on the sies, so deploying the device with 18:9 display actually did not make any mean in terms of bezels. The memory aspect of the V10 is taken care of by 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage space. The smartphone comes in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants; all have expandable storage via microSD card (up to 256GB) through a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. It is also rumoured to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box, but that will remain to be seen. The dual rear camera setup remains at the back but is now placed on a horizontal setup and flaunts a sleeker metal unibody design. The phone could be priced around CNY 3000 (approx Rs 30,000).
