At least 3 dead in California school shooting, shooter killed by police

Authorities tell KHSL they responded to a report of shots fired at the Rancho Tehama Reserve south of Red Bluff around 8 a.m.

At least three people were killed and at least two children were wounded in a shooting at a rural Northern California school Tuesday morning, according to Fox 5 San Diego.

Children and a 30-year-old man are among the gunshot victims, the Redding Record Searchlight reports. Among the dead are the gunman, who was killed by police, authorities said.

There were at least 100 law enforcement with multiple, "multiple scenes". "Multiple students" were airlifted from the scene, with a 6-year-old reportedly among the injured.

A Corning Unified School district employee confirmed there were injuries at the school. According to local law enforcement, there were "multiple victims in multiple locations".
