Indians love watching Netflix on the go, with over 88 percent of subscribers in the country having binge-watched their favourite series outside the comforts of their homes, according to a company-sponsored survey that polled 37,056 people across 22 countries. The worst part of that is one in five feel "show shame" when they do, because they are embarrassed about what they were caught watching!
The daily commute is a big time for Netflix with 34% of Aussies watching on the way to work, while the cafe also gets a run with 32% of people.
Towards the end of past year, Netflix released a download feature, which allowed users to download select titles onto their tablets or mobile devices to watch, without having to worry about draining the data plan.
All in all, with over 109 million members in a world with over 2.4 billion smartphone users, it's not surprising to discover that Netflix is taking over the public sphere and making "binge-free-zones" virtually nonexistent.

Xiaomi came in second place during Q3 2017, securing 21 percent of the total wearable market and shipping 3.6 million units. Their increase in third quarter shipments was, however, more than offset by slowing demand for fitness trackers.
Yep, with more and more mobile providers offering Netflix on-the-go deals and more data for plans, as well as Netflix's offline viewing, 59 percent of Aussies are embarking on "public binge watching".
The sample was balanced by age and gender and representative of an adult online population who watch movies and TV shows via streaming services in public settings in the US, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.
And with so many watching on the go, 45 percent of Aussies have caught someone snooping on their screen. After all, bingers ranked access to movies and TV shows as more essential than food and water for commuting.
