Moto X4 India launch slated for today

The Moto X4 has a dual-camera setup at the back.

The company has already confirmed that Moto X4 will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, but the price and availability date will be revealed after launch.

The smartphone sports 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. You can also watch the live streaming of the event here. Other highlights include IP68 water and dust resistance. The main camera is a 12MP shooter with Auto Focus, On the camera front, the device's dual rear camera features a 12MP, sensor with f/2.0 and 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Geo-Tagging, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Video Recording. Although, if reports are anything to go by, Motorola could be launching another variant with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. Interestingly, this phone supports Amazon's personal assistant, Alexa. Motorola recently announced that the Moto X4 will receive an update to Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of the year. Going by the same, Motorola sent out media invites for a launch event slated to happen in the country on November 13 that is today.

PS VR bundles on offer include the recently announced Gran Turismo Sport bundle ($299.99) and the Skyrim VR bundle ($349.99). The PlayStation VR bundles ranged at about $400 to $500 upon the launch of the virtual reality headset.

During its global launch at IFA 2017 it was released on an Android Nougat 7.1. For the front snapper, Moto X4 comes with 16Megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The company also says the camera is capable to capture good photos in low light and also have wide angle shots, panoramic selfies. The Moto X4 packs a 3000mAh battery which also supports 15W TurboPower.

As well as the Game Pad accessory for the Moto Z, Motorola Australia have now begun selling the 360-degree camera mod for the Moto Z on their Australian store.
