Xiaomi is now the second largest smartphone vendor in India with 17 per cent shares in Q2, according to International Data Corporation's (IDC) Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report. The invite doesn't confirm anything about the phone, but we know it would be selfie phone.

In a way, that would make the Mi Note 3 the first of a new smartphone series, albeit one which has already made its debut in China.

Xiaomi is hosting an event on November 2 in India, where it will be launching a new smartphone series. The smartphone is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 through USB TYpe C port and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Xiaomi's custom MIUI 9 on top. With the craze for selfie-centric phones in the country right now, it is not surprising that Xiaomi too wants to grab a pie of the lucrative market. Furthermore, the company recently announced a record-breaking month with over 4 million in sales across various channels. Another tweet by Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director of Xiaomi India, has the hashtag #YourBestSelfie with a caption reading, "Brace yourself, the best selfie smartphone is coming soon!".

Interpol Red Corner notices have been issued against them. "This was done to foment terrorist activities in the valley". The NIA said so far, Shahid had received about Rs 4.5 lakh through eight worldwide wire transfers.

Unlike the Mi A1 launch, which Xiaomi touted as global launch, the company is touting as "All New Smartphone Series". Xiaomi has boasted about the phone's "Adaptable AI Beautify" feature, which the Chinese smartphone maker claims is a result of over half a year's R&D.

If rumors are to be believed, there's a good chance Xiaomi is finally making its Mi Note series available in India. Later on, it had also released other phones like Mi Max 2, Mi A1 Android One phone and Mi MIX 2 flagship phone. Xiaomi also entered the high-end market with the Mi Mix 2 launch last month.

In China, Xiaomi is likely to soon unveil the Redmi 5 Plus budget phone with full screen design before November 11. The news arrives in a teaser invite we received earlier today via email, with the new lineup set to be unveiled on November 2.
