You've heard of the Walker, Texas Ranger.
The City of Waller Animal Shelter and Rescue was founded by first responders and is located in a renovated jail. "He's super sweet and knows how to smile when you ask him to", the shelter posted on its Facebook page.
The dog named Cheech was brought into the shelter on Friday and the shelter posted photos of little Cheech smiling for the camera.
With so many messages, it didn't take long for the shelter to find a home for Cheech. The best part is that the black-and-tan barker knows how to smile on command, making him the ideal pet for someone looking to post a lot of photos. Animal lovers everywhere adoreCheech, with the original Facebook post now having over 4,400 shares.
The pics were shared thousands of times.
Soon, the agency chose the new owner - and one with a story as poignant as Cheech's.
Kenya's Supreme Court hears petition to cancel Thursday vote
But officials at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, or IEBC, announced they would go ahead with the vote. Neither Ruth Odinga nor Outa could immediately be contacted for comment.
They added that Carrie and Dusty instantly hit it off with Cheech.
'Congratulations on finding your forever home Cheech, we are very happy that you're going to the ideal home.
Maybe we should call him "cheese" instead, because Cheech loves to smile. "Nothing but smiles here today y'all!", continues the Facebook update.
Cheech has a charming toothy grin, and now he's got a family to boot.
The shelter says they are the first no-kill animal shelter in Waller County, Texas and is 100 percent volunteer and donation based.
