Home-grown handset manufacturer Karbonn Mobiles on Tuesday expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new budget-oriented smartphone, called the "Karbonn Titanium Jumbo" in the Indian market.

Lastly, this dual-SIM smartphone will be made available in two colour options- Black and Champagne.

The new Karbonn Titanium Jumbo comes with a painting finish and a free back panel design. The key highlight of the smartphone is its battery, which is apparently extremely long lasting compared to other devices at the similar price segment. It is fuelled by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset, clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Specifications wise, the Karbonn Titanium Jumbo rocks a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels.

Titanium Jumbo has been specifically designed keeping today's consumers in mind.

The Karbonn Titanium Jumbo is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Micro-SIM. Moreover, the users can further expand the native storage capacity to 64GB through microSD card.

Titanium Jumbo also includes Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio as well as an inbuilt photo and video editor to help you customize your pictures and edit videos according to your preference.

Earlier this month, Indian telecom giant Karbonn Mobiles also announced its partnership with the India's largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel to introduce a new affordable 4G-enabled smartphone, called the "Karbonn A40 Indian" in the Indian tech market. The customers will get a cash refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and other Rs 1000 after 36 months, taking the total cash benefit to Rs 1500.
