He has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Murder.
The teen eventually spoke to police while in their custody, saying he often has "homicidal ideations" and decided before stabbing the two children that he wanted to be "alone". The suspect is their older brother. The victims were all transported to the hospital following desperate life-saving attempts by first responders, but only the father survived.
Police said the suspect, a 19-year-old man, is in custody.
While talking to police, the teen said he believed he stabbed his brother and sister - identified as 5- and 7-years-old - three times each.
Details about what led up to the fatal incident have not yet been released.

The rear of the vehicle was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on scene and proceeded to burn forward as they brought the fire under control, according to a March 31 report by the Effingham Daily News. All three were taken to the hospital.
"This is a very horrific scene, not only for our officers who were performing life-saving measures, but also for the fire department and AMR crew, and we can never forget the emergency room and dealing with a 5-year-old and a 7-year-old", Black said. The third victim, a man, is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
During the recounting of events, police said Malik told them he remembered his sister yelling his name when he stabbed her.
Detectives are not yet sure what happened before the attack, but say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the killings. This is still a very active scene.
