Google Assistant on phones can finally send videos and music to Chromecast

To make video calls from these apps, the phone manufacturer needs to enable video calling.

Naturally, the first phones to get access to this new integrated video calling experience is Google's original Pixel, Android One phones, and Nexus devices.

Google has announced that it is adding the functionality to start a video call directly from a call or text messages on the phone, as well as from contacts and Android Messaging apps. If not, Google Duo will connect your video call to anyone with the app.

The APK should work on pretty much any Android device with v5.0 or above.

That being said, with cheap data rates, people are making the most out of video calling services today. This doesn't look to good to me considering the fact that users will be made to go through a long process just to make video calls.
