The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly anxious linebacker Markus Golden suffered a significant knee injury during Sunday's 18-15 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. "It takes a lot of spirit out of the defense because he brings it every play", Arians said.

Mike Jurecki of Arizona Sports 98.7 reported the news, noting the "fear" is Golden's injury is a torn ACL or MCL in the right knee.

Many players' thoughts were on Golden on Monday.

Watford appeared in 33 games (12 starts) during his four-season stint with Arizona from 2013-16.

Last week, left tackle D.J. Humphries suffered a setback from a knee sprain suffered in a Week 1 loss, and his return is delayed.

Disciplined India restrict Australia to 242-9 in Nagpur ODI
In a match which has summed up the one-day worldwide series, India have thrashed Australia by seven wickets in Nagpur . Like all four of Australia's losses, at one stage they looked in control only for India to outclass them.

Kareem Martin will likely replace Golden in the starting lineup.

The Cardinals, though, could get a left guard back. Boone missed Sunday's game. He has played in 35 games for the Cardinals. It's a big blow for the Cardinals' pass rush.

"It's good. He knows the offense, he knows what to do, we know Earl", tackle Jared Veldheer said.

"It is really hard to see Markus (Golden) go down like that, but Kareem (Martin) has been waiting for an opportunity, and he's going to have his now", quarterback Carson Palmer said.

"Great to have a win, and then you wake up and you see what happens in Las Vegas, and your heart and your prayers go out to those families who lost lives", Arians said.
