Paul Pogba has been ordered to take a 10-day holiday by an unhappy Jose Mourinho as the midfielder rehabs his hamstring injury.

Oraval, who also worked on Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, will hold talks with the France worldwide over whether an operation would be best for him to get back on his feet.

The star midfielder suffered a hamstring injury last week, in United's opening Champions League match of the 2017-18 campaign against FC Basel at Old Trafford.

"His injury is a little different to Dembele, so he can heal without surgery", Orava told Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.

Manchester United have won all three of their games in the 24-year-old's absence thus far against Everton, Burton Albion and Southampton, but the impending decision on what course of action to take regarding their record signing will nevertheless have the club and its fans on tenterhooks.

Anthony also reportedly insisted that he be traded before the start of training camp next week, regardless of where he ended up. Knicks officials addressed Anthony's situation at a Friday morning press conference at the team's practice facility.

The Barcelona star's rehabilitation has been programmed at around three-and-a-half months following surgery, and Manchester United will hope Pogba won't be out almost as long as his France team-mate.

Pogba has made a strong start to the season along with his Manchester United team-mates, with the Red Devils now joint top of the Premier League table heading into this weekend's round of games.

Neville said: "He's a big miss". Even if it's not going well for him he'll try the next pass.

"He is a loss but Marouane Fellaini has come in, and United have got Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick. United will have to cope with that".

"You're going to lose players during the season, you've got to overcome it".
